Três Tombos Waterfail

There are three waterfalls with easy access – you can park your car few meters away – and they are among the most pleasant in the Island. The first waterfall welcomes the visitor with a shower and a delightful natural pool. The higher waterfalls can be reached by a 400 m trail. The second waterfall is small and leads to the rock slab where the water feeds the first fall. The third, a rocky cliff where the water falls directly on the stones, is the largest of the three falls. You can enjoy the shower by walking over the boulders.

Getting there: The entrance of the trail is about 2 km north of Pousada Villaggio Assis just off the main entrance of Fazenda São Mathias, right before the entrance to Feiticeira beach.

Who takes you there: The trail is short, well marked with easy access. Nevertheless, there are guides who can take groups to the waterfall.
